How To Share A Pack With A Broker
1. Accessing Packs
Log into Supercede and go to Packs.
2. Selecting Pack
Click on the name of the pack you would like to share with the broker.
3. Accessing Permissions
Navigate to the permissions and click the Manage Permissions (people icon) in the upper righthand corner of the permissions section.
4. Adding a New Broker
Click the blue Add company button.
Start typing the name of the broker company into the search bar. Select the applicable company value from the drop-down. Click Next at the bottom of the page.
Brokers who are already registered on Supercede under the applicable company value, will display under Team on the left of the page. You now have two options; You can add a broker who is already available in the list, or you can send an invitation to a broker who is not yet registered.
4.1. Adding Existing Broker
Add an existing broker to the pack by clicking the green Add button next to their name. Once done, their name will display under Broker Team on the right.
Click Next at the bottom of the page.
4.2. Inviting New Broker
To share the pack with a broker who is not yet registered, click the blue Invite button in the Team section.
Enter the broker's corporate email address and click Add.
Click Next at the bottom and complete the data selection. Only once the Share button on the next page has been pressed will the email trigger.
The broker will receive an email notification from 'noreply@supercede.com' with a link to sign up to the platform.
The link will take them to the registration page.
Once the details have been completed, the broker will be directed to the welcome page and can access the shared pack under Packs. Only packs which have been shared with them will display in their packs list.
For the user who has shared the pack, the email address will display as 'invited by email' in the Team section, until the broker has accessed the link.
5. Setting Data Access
You have the ability to select the data the broker should have access to. Expand sections / subsections via the arrows and tick / untick the boxes to grant, or remove, access.
For the Loss Run and the Policy Bordereau you have the option to anonymise the data or block access completely by toggling on the switch next to anonymize data and block access. Anonymising the data will lead to the insured names and claimants to be hidden in the data download, blocking the access will lead to the data being blocked completely.
6. Adding Supporting Documentation
If your pack includes supporting documentation, select the files you would like to share with the broker in the Files section.
Click Share as the final step.
7. Editting Broker Permissions
To edit permissions for a broker who already has access to a pack, go to the Permissions.
Select the people icon in the upper righthand corner.
To delete a broker company from the permissions, click the three dots next to Edit and select Delete permission.
Click Edit to modify permissions. From here you can add users or remove their access via the buttons next to their name.
