How To Add An Expiring Pack In Supercede
The Supercede platform includes functionality to renew or add expiring packs, allowing you to effortlessly track the evolution of a Treaty book from year to year. This feature ensures that Packs are linked, enabling year-on-year (YoY) data comparisons.
1. Accessing Packs
Log into Supercede and go to Packs.
Select the pack you want to add an expiring pack to by clicking on it's title.
2. Adding Expiring Pack
Click the Actions button in the upper righthand corner and select Add expiring pack.
Update the details in line with the treaty information. It makes sense to label the packs with the year of the treaty data, so it's easy to keep track once the platform holds a few year's worth of data.
Click Save.
The pack structure is rolled backwards, saving time and effort. Note that the exhibits and files will not contain any data. Additional sections and subsections can be added to the expiring pack if required, however these will not produce YoY comparisons unless the renewal pack is backfilled with comparable data.
