How To Renew Your Pack In Supercede
The Supercede platform includes renewal functionality, allowing you to effortlessly renew Packs and track the evolution of a Treaty book from year to year. This feature ensures that Packs are linked, enabling year-on-year (YoY) data comparisons.
1. Accessing Packs
Log into Supercede and go to Packs.
Select the pack you want to renew by clicking on it's title. If you already have another pack linked to the selected one, make sure you are working in the latest one.
2. Renewing a Pack
Click the Actions button in the upper righthand corner and click Renew.
Update the details in line with the new treaty information. It makes sense to label the packs with the year of the treaty data, so it's easy to keep track once the platform holds a few year's worth of data.
Click Save.
The pack structure as well as the bandings in the profiles are rolled forward, saving time and effort. Note that the exhibits and files will not contain any data. Additional sections and subsections can be added to the renewal pack if required, however these will not produce YoY comparisons unless the previous pack is backfilled with comparable data.
