How To Create And Manage Non-Monetary Exposure Profiles In Supercede
Follow the below steps to create, update and manage your non-monetary exposure profiles seamlessly within the platform.
1. Accessing Non-Monetary Exposure Profile
Open the Supercede Homepage and click on the packs widget to access your pack list.
Select the pack you would like to create a non-monetary exposure profile for by clicking on its title and select Policy Bordereau.
Select Non-Monetary Exposure Profile from the menu on the left.
2. Selecting Subsection
Across the top of the profile, select the subsections you would like to view data for.
Select Apply to confirm selection.

3. Setting Profile Bandings
To set up a non-monetary exposure profile for the first time, you will need to set the profile bandings.
Before the initial set-up, no profiles will display.
To set your profile bandings, enter numeric values using thousands (k), millions (m), billions (b) or trillions (t). The profile and bandings will appear automatically. Decimals are not supported.
3. Non-Monetary Exposure Base and Metric
Once the bandings are configures, you can set the Non-Monetary Exposure Base and Metric via the grey drop downs.
Non-Monetary Exposure Base
Non-Monetary Exposure Base is the type of exposure you have uploaded (Headcount, Gross Weight Tonnage, Vehicle Years, etc...). Only values which have been populated during upload will display.
The non-monetary exposure base must be consistent across a subsection, however, you can combine different bases in your profile.
Care must be taken when combining bases as they may not make sense, potentially leading to meaningless results.
Metric
These are the different options available for viewing and analysing your data:
- Policy Count
- Gross Written Premium
- Net Written Premium
- Total Exposure
- Average Exposure
5. Viewing the Underlying Policy Data
Clicking on values with a dotted border will allow you to see all of the underlying policy data that is aggregated within each banding.
Use the scroll bar at the bottom to shift to the right of the table and navigate through the pages by clicking on the page number or the arrows.
Go back to the non-monetary exposure profile by clicking the Back to Non-Monetary Exposure Profile in the upper lefthand corner.
