How To Create And Manage Custom Profiles In Supercede
Supercede allows you to create a custom profile, using any of the data points not available in the other profiles, e.g. broker, postcode or territory of exposure.
Follow the steps below to configure a custom profile.
1. Accessing Custom Profile
Open the Supercede Homepage and click on the Packs widget to access your Pack List.
Select the pack you would like to create a custom profile for by clicking on its title and select Policy Bordereau.
Select Custom Profile from the menu on the left.
2. Selecting Subsection
Across the top of the profile, select the subsections you would like to view data for.
Select Apply to confirm selection.
See here for more information on the subsection selection.
3. Field, Metric, Limit Base and Cedent Share
Once the subsections are selected, you can set the Field, Metric and in some cases the Limit Base and Cedent Share via the grey drop downs. Note that there are no bandings in the custom profiles as the fields chosen are categorical.
Field
The field is the variable which displays the value you would like profile. Any value which is not available in the standard profiles but has been mapped in your data can be displayed.
Metric
The metric gives different options for analysing your data.
- Policy Count
- Gross Written Premium
- Net Written Premium
- Total Limit
- Average Limit
Limit Base
This only needs to be set for the limit metrics (Total Limit and Average Limit). The options are:
- Gross Aggregate
- Net Aggregate
- Gross Occurrence
- Net Occurrence
Cedent Share
This represents the line size and can be selected for the limit metrics in combination with the following:
- Gross Aggregate
- Gross Occurrence
For the net values the line size can not be selected as the values are already representative of the cedent's share.
