How to delete a deal layer in Supercede
Things to know:
- A layer can only be deleted in draft stage.
- Once past the draft stage, a layer may have been viewed / quoted on by a market, or reviewed by a broker / cedent and should therefore not be deleted.
1. Deleting layer in draft stage
Go to the ellipsis on the lefthand side of the deal and click Delete.
2. Deleting layer past draft stage
Duplicate the entire option, by clicking on the ellipsis next to the option.
Click Duplicate.
A pop-up will appear. Enter a new option name and click Clone.
This creates an exact copy of all layer information contained within the first option.
In the new option, delete the redundant layer by clicking on the ellipsis next to the layer name.
Click Delete.
Archive the old option by clicking on the ellipsis next to the option name.
Click Archive.
