How to handle endorsements in Supercede as a broker or cedent
5. Endorsement approval
Go to the endorsements tab.
Expand the endorsement by clicking on its title.
Review all information.
Accept or decline the endorsement at the bottom of the page.
Leave a comment and accept / decline.
Reinsurer(s) will receive an email notification once the endorsement has been accepted by the cedent.
The endorsement is only visible to the reinsurer(s) once fully approved.
Handling multiple Reinsurers:
If you have multiple markets but the the endorsement only affects a single market, the endorsement is only sent for approval to the relevant market.
All markets can be on catered for on a single endorsement but each layer requires it's own endorsement.
All markets included on the endorsement must accept to complete the endorsement. If one market declines then the entire endorsement is voided and the process must be restarted.
