Entering quotes on behalf of markets
If a market submits a quote outside the Supercede platform, you have the option to enter a quote on their behalf.
1. Start quoting
In the options tab of your deal, select Start Quoting.
2. Notifying markets
If you selected offline markets, there won't be any notifications going out to markets.
You can set a due date but not message needs to be entered.
3. Providing quotes
Go to the actions drop down in the layer and click Provide Quote.
Reinsurer: Market you're providing the quote on behalf of.
On behalf of: Underwriter you're providing the quote on behalf of.
Authorising Entity: The capacity / stamp. If the correct capacity does not appear here get in touch with support@supercede.com who will get the stamp added.
Quote Expiry: The date the quote is valid until.
Rate: % if rate provided.
Reinsurance Premium: CCY and premium if provided.
Ceding Commission: % if provided.
Line size: % if provided.
Internal Reference: Usually the quote reference (if one has been provided).
All fields marked with and asterisk * are mandatory.
3. Editing or deleting quotes
You can edit or delete the entered quote via the Edit Quote button.
